The construction of this boat concept comprises two separated parts attached above water line, creating a hermetical joint. At the bottom of the boat, there is only one fixation that ensures easy assembling and the boat’s upper corpus fabric is waterproof, which can be removed during a shiny day. The convenient seating arrangement for the rider offers straight-back seating which leads to comfortable and functional boating.

Hi-Vis is a set of innovatively designed, highly-visible vest collection, specially designed for road side safety. Unlike usual roadworker’s uniform like vests, the Hi-Vis collection comprises stylish sporting buttons, frills and collars that will effectively eliminate the shame of wearing them for the users. With its eye-soothing fluorescent green color along with fashionable black liner, these vests can easily become a selection for all motorists who is undergoing through an unfortunate break down. Other drivers can easily locate the wearer from enough distance that requires making a safe and perfect evade.

The compact and lightweight Roadrunner trike concept has been designed to ride on the tarmac that can carry up to 25kg of load. This three wheeler transportation concept is ideal for those who are having trouble with keeping balance on traditional two-wheeled bicycles. The featured wind guard and mud visor offers convenient riding when it is raining. Aside from pedal drive, the trike features secondary electric motor rear wheel which gets power from the lithium-polymer battery pack (other types of batteries can also be used) placed in the forward basket. The use of ultra modern carbon-fiber construction keeps the weight of the trike as low as 26kg only and the combination of physical activity and battery powered drive ensures complement for the environment and keeps the user healthy.

A few new stencils by one of our favorite urban artists, Banksy, have emerged near Regent’s Canal in Camden, London. Coming right at the tail-end of the Copenhagen climate talks, Banksy references the touchy subject matter in one of his pieces.

Today, Darth Vader rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. He was accompanied by stormtroopers as R2-D2 worked the floor.
Guido Mocafico doesn’t use paint, clay or a chisel to create these brilliant works of natural art. His art form is smooth, silent and scaly-skinned, the living creatures of the serpent world. Earlier this decade, Mocafico began photographing a wide variety of living snakes in a color-neutral environment. The close-quarter confines in these images cause the snakes to wrap and overlap amongst eachother, creating amazing shapes and patterns of bodies and colors. No matter your opinion of our scaly, legless friends, these images are truly breath taking. The colors are so visually arresting in Guido Mocafico’s work, we’ve never seen eye candy quite like this.

Some people derive their identity from their facial hair, while others use it as a fashion statement, or groom it for competition. The large surface area of a person’s beard allows for intricate and voluminous designs not possible with moustache hair alone. Maintaining a shape requires braiding or heavy duty wax and sprays, but the increasing popularity of the World Beard and Moustache Championships helps motivate hesitant facial hair growers, and helps spur creative new designs.

While facial hair is not socially acceptable on females in Western Society, it’s always been acceptable in the circus. The bearded lady has been a freakshow staple for just as long as the strong man and the sword swallower. Some women push the boundaries of social norms to help broaden societal acceptance of women (and men) who don’t conform to gender stereotypes. Despite changes in public opinion, women with facial hair are still a surprising sight to most.

Few world records require as much perseverance as the title of having the world’s longest beard. Sarwan Singh is the current record holder, with a beard topping out at over 2 meters in length (7 feet). The longest beard ever? It measured over 5 meters in length (17 feet), but its owner is now deceased. If you’d like to tackle this record, I hope you’re patient, as it will take decades to come even close.

Recycled shipping containers are known to building designers and architects for their low cost and ease of use. They have been used in the construction of homes, housing developments, offices and commercial space for several years already, but there’s a new segment of architecture coming out of the woodwork to take advantage of this unique material: lodging and education facilities. Both are typically concerned with price and with the ease of installation of any new facilities, and shipping containers meet their requirements.
