“This animation was created by Ericailcane and DEM from Italy and Will Barras from the UK. The music was written by Om Unit (UK), Tatsuki (JP) and Tayone (IT). Together these six artists worked as part of the first Original Cultures event in Bologna, Italy in June 2009. The audio and animation were created separately, without the artists knowing what the others were doing, before being brought together for a live showcase.
This edit gives everyone who couldn’t make the show, as well as those who did, a chance to see part of what happened on the night – a truly unique coming together of artists and cultures.”

The bird like shape of the Snowmobile concept sports car leaves an impression about some kind of flying vehicle to the viewers during the first sight. Even though the vehicle can’t fly for sure, it has all the potential to reach the finish line on the race track before anyone else. Since the vehicle is supposed to be driven in icy track, it doesn’t contain any tires; rather, a ski board at the front and a rotating chain on 3 electric motors are featured at the back. The power of both the front and rear suspensions can positively realize with their heavy appearance. The sitting arrangement has been innovatively done and includes a small, functional and decorative windshield.

The concept Tafoni Floating Home has been developed aiming to change the attitude of people’s living on a houseboat, especially for those who are living at the Sausalito houseboat district of California. The minimal and simple concept features stunning exterior and the interior with three major parts, living area at the front, kitchen and bedroom with bathroom and closet area at the back.
The kitchen and a fully glazed sunroom is situation at the middle part of the concept and the main entrance has designed as the dining area. Both the front and back part offers big windows to enjoy the scenery of the bay. The modular repetitive ellipsoidal wooden binds of the houseboat’s framing can be mass-produced to save resources and energy. The ellipsoidal shaped structure of the house features larger capacity by eliminating the need of additional columns and walls that diminishes not only space, but also affects the quality of the interior.

Natural leaf carving is actual manual cutting and removal of a leaf’s surface to produce an art work on a leaf. The process of carving is performed by artists using tools to carefully the surface without cutting or removing the veins. The veins add detail into the subject matter of the carving.
The producing of the Leafage carving artwork is very complicated. The leaves are not only selected strictly and carefully but also should be treated with more than 60 working procedures like shaving, pressing, carving and so on. Generally speaking, it takes 3~4 months to complete the artwork. The finished product is strong and natural and beautiful.
The material or most common leaf used in leaf carving is the leaf of a Chinar tree. The Chinar tree is native to India, Pakistan and China. Chinar leaves have a close resemblance to maple leaves.
