This phone boasts 4 module user interfaces; audio, sensing element, visual modality and location, granting the user to custom-make the phone harmonizing with their need and taste. Furthermore, users can add up a couple of numbers of extra faculties to brand the phone even more operable and appealing to their needs. The groomed black touchscreen tenders a different way of checking out the functions and an easy operational surrounding. The phone is denounced under the name of Samsung and embodies a great tangible gimmick that can acquire and share environmental consciousness through a inbuilt collaborative social network name “eco-map”.

The Horizon Yacht concept is an outcome of careful research, contemporary innovations and a whole new approach to design super-yachts aiming more adventurous but family oriented users. The SkySail is its only power provider which ensures continuous traveling all over the world without stopping for fuel. This feature is quite unique considering the reliance on power source to be refueled after every 4000nm or so for upkeeping the luxury apparatuses of other conventional yachts. The hulls have been innovatively designed to offer a smooth ride in all weather conditions by using wave piercing technology.

Horizon ploughs straight through the crest instead riding over it which reduces vertical acceleration drastically. Only with the SkySail, Horizon can run at 24 knots max and coupled with the 2 5000hp engines, it will top out at 45 knots.

O2 is a smart and innovative air purifier concept that incorporates plants with the air cleaning process. The procedure is simple, put the plant pot on O2, water it and leave it under sunlight in your living room. The device will collect water-drops and tempt the plant to steam more. Actually, the system is able to quicken the plant’s transportation process which will lead to generate more oxygen. The increased level of oxygen will purify the inside environment and let you keep a healthy condition in a natural process. Besides, it can speed up the bloom of flowers and allow the fragrance spread inside your room.

The Eco Pods are a structure concept that can act as a temporary algae bio-reactor in vertical way. This concept is specially designed for Boston and features robotic arms, powered by micro-algae mechanism, which will continuously rearrange the pods to different positions to ensure the best possible growing condition for the algae. Moreover, these eco-pods are intended to inform people about the potential of micro-algae as a bio-fuel that can be produced vertically.

Aside from being just a bio-reactor and a local renewable energy source, the Eco-Pod will also be a good research incubator where scientists can examine algae species and ways of fuel extraction, including innovative methods of using low energy consuming LED lighting for modifying the algae growth cycles. This module can easily be placed to various places around Boston, infilling empty sites, examining new proposals, and creating initiatives with other communities in order to meet the growing energy requirements.

The Jaguar C-XS concept car can intelligently tailor the needs of a driver by changing its shape and style in two different modes. The Saloon Mode features a higher roofline, allowing four people to seat in a comfortable manner. Alternatively, when it is in Sport Mode, the car folds the rear seats and lowers the driver’s seat to give it a sportier feel and appearance. Moreover, the interior of the car changes in this mode by rearranging the air vents, placing a large grill, changing the headlight’s shape and pushing back the roofline to make it lower. The Elastomeric Material made canopy of the car holds a frame underneath, which allows the roof to change its shape and a strong electric current flow makes it as sturdy as aluminium. Besides, the car will give the owner a sense of individuality and style depending on what the key holder is wearing. The key scans its surrounding are and accordingly changes colour into the most dominant one.

Loop Vignette is an eco-friendly and lightweight 2-seater concept electric car designed for the next generation riders aiming to customize the mobility ideas with more closely associated lifestyle products, technological gadgetry and the Internet. The outcome is therefore a brand new, sophisticated, fun, desirable and most significantly affordable experience which the target customer can relate to.

The design comprises both economic and technical efficiency. The chassis is covered in an unpainted swappable plastic skin, which eliminates the painting stage. The placement of the rear wheels within the rear quarter panel offer improved aerodynamics. The rear and front façade of the car contains thin-film OLEDs under the colored polycarbonate surfaces, through which users can personalize parameters like day-running lights or graphically expressing themselves by adding custom decals. This feature will also eliminate the need of placing individual lights for turn indicators or brakes.

The dashboard has been kept minimal for individual movable components; rather it contains a huge touch screen where most of the interactions between the car and the rider will take place. While driving, users can keep their other works going on through the internet connectivity and share their driving experience through social networking websites.

The Eboard Tracker concept doesn’t focus on just a transport vehicle, rather the designer has envisioned it as an eco-friendly, small and funny motorbike that can run at up to 30 mph and ensures better twisting around the corner of the street with its compact and light design. This bike contains hand throttle instead of traditional electric pedaling and features light, simple and optical flowing frame. A beam girder from section-I and hydro-formed tubes welded together in order to strengthen the steering head. The handlebar is shaped like an ace-bar which is fully adjustable and includes a cycle computer on top with speed, battery status and estimated remaining battery capacity readings.

This bike features a very close to “vintage racer” look with its regenerative breaking and a hub battery since they are similar to a set of drum brakes. The chain is swapped for a carbon shaft, bevel drive and nylon hypoid gears enclosed in right swing arm. Behind the pedal shafts, a small six speed cassette type remains hidden and comes operational if the battery becomes flat any time. Both pedals are lockable at 180 degrees and can be used as foot pegs

With global warming threatening inshore metropolises and a Modern era of mass migration on the purview, going mobile merely could be today’s smart idea – and tomorrow’s way of living. Those who prefer to get tumbling right away have a tantalizing selection of ambulant residences from which to select. Here are a dozen tech-packed previews that are full of Win… without the Winnebago.
Futuristic Mobile Homes: Trailer Trash or Treasure?

Rolling Stone Home Gathers No Moss

Slovakia-based Nice Architects has a nice idea for future mobile-homers: the Rolling Stone eco-capsule. Though not connected in any way with a certain English music group, a certain UKn pop culture magazine or a song by a certain singer named Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stone stands on its own when it comes to being environmentally friendly, self-sufficient and generally cute & cozy.

Concept Caravan Captures Cubist Chic

Those who wouldn’t be caught dead in a classic, Harvest Gold motor home might find the svelte & stylish Mehrzeller much more appealing. German for “multi-cell”, the Mehrzeller caravan concept maximizes interior space while displaying an organic, polygon exterior that resembles natural mineral crystals. The Mehrzeller hails from Graz, Austria, birthplace of another svelte & stylish object: California “Governator” Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Ford Airstream Evokes the Thirties

Futuristic Mobile Homes: Trailer Trash or Treasure?(images via: All Hydrogen Cars and Fotki)

The 2030s, that is. Actually the Airstream concept Ford’s been showing off lately looks both ways: its eco-friendly hybrid hydrogen fuel cell is most futuristic while the silvery style and iconic name harken back to the good old dust bowl days when hydrogen power was all the rage… until that idea went down like a lead zeppelin.

The Fold-Out Foldoub Trailer

Futuristic Mobile Homes: Trailer Trash or Treasure?(images via: Treehugger)

Dutch designer Niels Caris has created a foldout trailer called, naturally, the Foldoub Trailer. Tow, park, push a switch and the whole kit & kaboodle opens up like Godzilla’s big pop-up book of home design. On the downside, the Foldoub Trailer has no kitchen, bathroom or storage… which could be a problem if you’re parked 50 miles past the “100 miles to Next Gas & Lodging” sign.

252° Living Area Maximizes Your Mini

Futuristic Mobile Homes: Trailer Trash or Treasure?(images via: Busyboo and Yanko Design)

The 252° Living Area springs from the creative mind of French designer Stephanie Bellange. Small enough to be towed by a Mini, the 3-wheeled trailer features supporting feet that spread automatically once the trailer’s outside shell is opened. The interior parts follow, much like the petals of a blossoming flower.

Colim Modular Camper

The Colim Modular Camper is a car, a trailer and a motorhome all in one. Park at your campsite, then tour the sites in the two-seater convertible module. The interior lives up to the exterior’s promises as well, with flowing, organic surfaces and eye-pleasing colors – not a splinter of plastic wood anywhere. The Colim Modular Camper is eco-friendly as well, with a solar panel on the roof and a hybrid engine nestled under the hood.

Put It On My T@B

Futuristic Mobile Homes: Trailer Trash or Treasure?(images via: Squob and Design Applause)

The T@B XL takes the classic teardrop trailer concept and lifts it into a new level of luxury. T@B’s (pronounced “Tab”) lesser models are anything but trashy but the twin-axle XL definitely rules the roost. Sleekly styled, the XL still stretches 22 feet from stem to stern and is expected to be priced in the £60K range. That is, if manufacturer Knaus Tabbert manages to emerge from bankruptcy – times are tough for the purveyors of luxo-goods.

Car Trailers For Motorcycles

Futuristic Mobile Homes: Trailer Trash or Treasure?(images via: Carscoop and UKn Custom Trailers)

You’ve seen cars towing motorcycles, but how about ‘cycles towing cars? They may be scaled down a mite but these very cool trailers still evoke the spirit of pinstriped, big-tired muscle cars. Mustangs and Corvettes are featured but the manufacturer, UKn Custom Trailers, also takes custom orders.

Have Tent, Will Travel

Futuristic Mobile Homes: Trailer Trash or Treasure?(images via: Gear)

The Sylvan Sport GO trailer looks like a comfy pop-up camping trailer at first glance but the more you look, the more you see. Indeed, versatility is the Sport GO’s middle name. Weighing in at 800 lbs., the camper morphs into an ATV hauler, a camping gear hauler, basically whatever you need it to do. Calling it the Transformers of pop-up campers would be an understatement, though the Sport GO seems to be the non-combative type. Here’s a video of the Sylvan Sport GO in action:

GM Goes Mobile Bigtime

Futuristic Mobile Homes: Trailer Trash or Treasure?(images via: World’s Fair Community and Gizmag)

This intimidating mobile home concept from General Motors Advanced Design Group shows the beleaguered corporation isn’t bankrupt – at least when it comes to provocative ideas. The GMC PAD is sort of a Winnebago on steroids that sports 6 wheels, an enormous full length (and width) windshield and a curious articulating feature that extends a step-like device out from the, er, fuselage to ease entry and exit. The PAD runs on a diesel-Electric hybrid system and its innovative resource management technology ensures onboard fuel and water supplies will last weeks, even months!

Tumblin’ Tumbleweed Homes

Futuristic Mobile Homes: Trailer Trash or Treasure?(images via: Find A Property)

The Tumbleweed Tiny Home Company has got a good thing going. These tiny perfect houses come mounted on wheels, so by law they’re considered travel trailers and thus a building permit isn’t required. Tiny they are, however: could you live in 65 to 140 square feet of space without padding the walls?

Capsule Caravan Really Gets A Round

Futuristic Mobile Homes: Trailer Trash or Treasure?(images via: Design Art Book)

The Capsule Caravan may look lke an oversized M&M but there’s nothing nutty about what’s inside. British designer David Tonkinson engineered the ovoid trailer to separate into distinct Comfort and Service Pods to keep men and machines apart. Conceived as a way to take in summer music festivals by day while resting comfortably by night, the Capsule Caravan is one of the sharpest trailers around – and that’s saying something as it’s one of the smoothest designs going!
