The emotive teapot concept has been designed by embedding the inspiration of social and cultural meanings of drinking tea in Asia. The main goal of the project was to synchronize the practice of serving tea for one another by making it able to be poured from both sides, allowing people pour the cup mutually, which strengthen the congeniality and relationships among them. Aside from its liberated appearance, the rocking motion of the teapot is intended to signify various kinds of gestural movements of people such as agreeable nodding, bowing and back and forth of conversation.
